CrewOpsPro integrates powerful mapping technology (powered by Mapbox and Google) directly into your workflow. Whether you are tracking a technician in real-time or verifying a service address before a quote, these tools provide visual context to your operations.

1. The Jobs Map (Dispatch Command Center)

The Jobs Map is your bird's-eye view of daily operations. It combines live GPS tracking with job data to help dispatchers make split-second decisions.

Live Technician Tracking

  • Real-Time Updates: When a technician is "On the Clock," their location updates on the map every 15 seconds.
  • Vehicle Icons: See exactly where your team is moving. Hover over an icon to see the technician's name and speed.
  • GPS History: The system logs breadcrumbs, allowing you to review travel routes later if needed.Job Clustering & Status ColorsTo keep the map readable, nearby jobs are automatically grouped into "Clusters."
  •  Clusters: Click a numbered circle (e.g., a "5" bubble) to zoom in and see the individual jobs in that neighborhood.
  • Color Coding: Pins are colored by status, matching your dashboard:
  1. Blue: Scheduled
  2. Green: In Progress
  3. Gray: Completed
  4. Red: Emergency / High Priority

Traffic Intelligence & Alerts

The map doesn't just show roads; it shows delays.

• Live Traffic: Major roads are color-coded (Green/Yellow/Red) based on current speeds.

• Alerts: If a technician's route is blocked by an accident, the system generates a Traffic Alert (Yellow, Orange, or Red) so you can notify the customer of a delay or re-route the driver.

Quick Actions

You can manage jobs directly from the map without returning to the list view.

• Click a Pin: Opens a summary card with the Client Name, Service Type, and Time.

• Navigate: Click the "Navigation" icon to open the route in Google Maps or Waze.

• Contact: Click the "Phone" or "SMS" icon to contact the client immediately.

2. Property Mapping Features

Mapping isn't just for moving vehicles; it’s for managing your customer database efficiently.

Automatic Geocoding

When you enter a property address, the system automatically calculates its Latitude and Longitude. This ensures that even new construction or rural addresses are pinned correctly for routing.

Google Street View Integration

Never look for the wrong house again.

• Visual Confirmation: The Property Detail page automatically pulls a Google Street View image of the address.

• Usage: Technicians can check this photo before arrival to identify the correct building, driveway, or entrance.

The "All Properties" Map

Navigate to the Properties tab and toggle from "List" to "Map" view.
• Service Density: See where your customers are concentrated to plan marketing campaigns.

• Route Planning: Visually group inspections or maintenance visits. For example, you can identify 5 properties in the same subdivision due for service and schedule them all on the same day to save fuel.

3. Configuration: Setting Up Mapbox

To unlock the full power of the Jobs Map, you must configure the integration.

Note: The app comes with a "Demo Mode" for testing, but for production use, you should add your own token to avoid usage limits.
1. Get a Token: Create a free account at Mapbox.com and copy your Default Public Token.
2. Enter in Crew Ops Pro:
  • Go to Settings → Integrations.
  • Scroll to Per-Tenant Configuration.
  • Paste the token into the Mapbox Configuration field.
  • Click Save.
3. Verification: Refresh the Jobs Map. The "Demo Mode" banner should disappear, and map loads will be faster.
